Web Programmer - Available Immediately

The Role

We are currently recruiting looking to recruit an experienced web programmer for our expanding team. The candidate ideally would already be involved in the development and implementation of e-commerce strategies across a wide range of clients, although not essential. They will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of all aspects of a project and need to have a clear understanding of the build process and the commercial requirements of an e-commerce website.

They will have a minimum of 1 years' web development experience working ideally on e-commerce websites and experience of building Content Management Systems.

They should be self motivated and work well in a team of like minded professionals. Strong communication skills are essential as they will be required to work with teams of Designers and Search Engine Optimisers. They must also have a good command of English Language.

They will be required to demonstrate knowledge of:

  • Usability
  • Search engines
  • CMS
  • Good programming technique

Experience of developing for multiple browser platforms is required along with the following core technologies.

Key Skills

  • Visual Basic.net
  • .Net Framework 2 and 3.5
  • CSS
  • Java Script (knowledge of JQuery also desirable)
  • SQL Server
  • Stored Procedures
  • IIS
  • Web service creation and integration

Also desirable

  • Classic ASP
  • Experience integrating with payment providers (Sagepay, HSBC, paypal etc)
