Addict Clothing Co, came to MAD with one objective, to dramatically increase online sales.
Addict already had a website; it was making sales but lacked trust and e-commerce professionalism. Working with an off the shelf e-commerce package, Addict needed more and easier control of the site's content and order processing.
With a very concise design brief and a known target, the Search Engine Optimisation was going to be the key to increasing sales. Initial analysis of the market gave MAD a clear direction on the structure for the website, and exactly how to bring customers into the site for a huge number of relevant and related keywords/phrases.
MAD built a brand new, 100% Organic Search Engine Optimised and Content Managed website in a total development time of 5 months. Working closely with Addict on the design, they are a respected design and brand after all, and the process they needed for the content management, the site now reflects the brand, the content is within the control of Addict, and they can process orders more simply than ever before.
Since the site went live in June 2005, Users are now finding the site through the search engines for a much wider range of keywords, an increase of 410% upon the old site. Addict have seen a total increase in visitors to the site by 300%, this is testament to the increase in traffic from the Search Engines and a continuous effort from Addict with their offline marketing. This has all helped lead to an increase of online sales by 581%.
